GENY MARCONDES, ARTISTA INTERDISCIPLINAR: REFLEXÕES SOBRE RELAÇÕES DE GÊNERO
Este artigo tem como objetivo fazer
uma pequena reflexão sobre a relação da mulher
com o fazer musical, à luz do estudo sobre
uma compositora brasileira, Geny Marcondes
(1916-2011). As discussões sobre memórias
femininas através de fontes orais contribuem
para resgatar a história das mulheres, e aqui
se fez uso desta metodologia para cumprir esta
proposta. As fontes orais partiram de gravações
de depoimentos feitos por essa artista para
esta pesquisadora, inviabilizando qualquer
pretensão de originalidade com relação às
abordagens complementares. Cabe salientar
que nas análises de gênero, outros fatores
estão incluídos, tais como problemas culturais
ou de raça que não serão apresentados
aqui. Considera-se Geny Marcondes, uma
artista multifacetada, que viveu e superou as
contradições do seu tempo.

Abstract:
This paper aims to make a reflexion
on the relationship of the woman with the
musicmaking, through the Brazilian composer
Geny Marcondes (1916-2011). Arguments
about feminine memories through oral sources
are a contribution to rescue women history,
and we use here this methodology to fulfill this
proposal. Oral sources here are the recordings
of the recollections made by this artist, which
do not pretend to be original in consideration of
complimentary approaches. What comes out
with the gender analysis is that other factors
are involved such as cultural or race problems,
the ones that will not be presented here. Geny
Marcondes is here considered a multifaceted
artist that lived and overcame the contradictions
of her own time.
