Futebol de Mulheres e a Experiência de Campo
Este texto faz parte da dissertação
do mestrado intitulada “Futebol além das
quatro linhas: um estudo sobre a formação
‘profissional’ das jogadoras do EC Pelotas/
Phoenix”. Através deste tema nós iremos
pontuar algumas peculiaridades que tivemos
ao realizar uma pesquisa etnográfica no clube.
O objetivo da pesquisa foi entender essas
construções e conjunturas que atravessam
as carreiras futebolísticas das jogadoras no
sul do Brasil, mais precisamente na cidade de
Pelotas/RS. Como conclusão, apesar da falta
estrutural no futebol de mulheres na região, a
sociabilidade e a paixão fazem com que elas
driblem as dificuldades e acreditem numa futura
carreira.

Abstract:
This text is part of the master’s
dissertation titled “Football beyond the four
lines: a study on the ‘professional’ formation of
the players of EC Pelotas / Phoenix”. Through
this theme we will punctuate some peculiarities
that we had when conducting an ethnographic
research in the club. The objective of the
research is to understand these constructions
and conjunctures that cross the soccer careers
of the players in the south of Brazil, more
precisely in the city of Pelotas / RS. In conclusion,
despite the structural lack in women’s football in
the region, sociability and passion make them
dribble the difficulties and believe in a future
career.
