FUNDAMENTALISMOS, INTOLERÂNCIAS E LAICIDADES: A RELIGIOSIDADE BRASILEIRA CONTEMPORÂNEA À LUZ DOS DIREITOS HUMANOS
A partir da interferência dos valores
orientados pelas cosmogonias do sagrado no
espaço público, esta abordagem pretende
discutir os limites e os riscos oferecidos pelas
convicções religiosas no âmbito da laicidade na
realidade brasileira contemporânea. Liberdade
religiosa não deveria ser confundida com a
promoção religiosa em espaços públicos e
nem com a interferência da religião nos atos
civis de interesse público. As religiões, ao
mesmo tempo em que devem ser respeitadas,
precisam exercer o respeito às diferenças,
às diversidades, promovendo a igualdade,
a justiça, a solidariedade, a liberdade de
expressão, convicção ou crença, a superação
de preconceitos e discriminações e, sobretudo,
garantir e respaldar os direitos humanos.

Abstract:
Based on the interference of
values guided by the cosmogonies of the sacred
in public space, this approach aims to discuss the
limits and risks offered by religious convictions
in the field of secularism in the contemporary
Brazilian reality. Religious freedom should not
be confused with religious promotion in public
spaces or with the interference of religion in
civil acts of public interest. Religions, at the
same time as they must be respected, must
exercise respect for differences, diversities,
promoting equality, justice, solidarity, freedom
of expression, conviction or belief, overcoming
preconceptions and discriminations and, Above
all, guarantee and support human rights.
