• Abstract: This article discusses project management, conceptualizing traditional methods, agile methods and hybrid methods, which occurs when traditional methods are used in conjunction with agile methods. In this work, the types of companies that find it easier to use agile methods in project management are described. A case study was carried out in an educational institution, in a project developed by students and teachers, in which the workflow uses the hybrid method for project management. The information obtained in the case study was analyzed, and the positive points and areas for improvement were noted. In this way, we hope to be able to contribute, through this research, to organizations that seek to use project management methods.
