Abstract: The field of the documentary scene is a space free of borders and simple definitions, a place destined for thought, reflection and questioning. According to Picon-Vallin, documentary theaters create a space of hybridity, tension and expectations in the future. The lecture-performance can be considered a subgenre that inhabits the field of documentary theaters in contemporary times. The lecture-performance uses the actor's performance as a way of connecting a personal experience with theoretical concepts that seek to reflect and reveal new points of view on the theme developed, enabling a transdisciplinary dialogue searching for new aesthetic and political forms of creating the scene. An analysis of a lecture-performance will be carried out as a way of observing the relationship between art, theory, memory, documents and the interactions established with the spectator.
