Abstract: A group of professors and students from the Master's Degree in Assessment at Cesgranrio College began researching the “State of the Art of Assessment” in 2014. Knowledge from the areas of assessment, library science and computer science were used as a theoretical framework in order to identify, register and organize the publication of scientific articles in the SciELO database in the area of Assessment and Education through a structured search and analysis process, aiming to describe the State of the Art of Assessment in Brazil. This research was the backbone of a discipline offered in the Course that played a significant role in the training process for evaluators.
