FORMAÇÃO ESTÉTICA DO PROFESSOR: A ARTE NO CURSO DE PEDAGOGIA DA UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DO CEARÁ
O presente estudo busca uma reflexão sobre as concepções de arte-educação dos alunos do Curso de Pedagogia da Universidade Federal do Ceará, e assim compreender de que maneira a dimensão estética é trabalhada no cotidiano do curso, promovendo aprofundamento nas discussões sobre arte, educação, escola e vida que se desenvolvem naquele curso. Os estudos empreendidos na disciplina Arte-Educação I proporcionam um trabalho de iniciação dos estudantes num processo de alfabetização estética: vivências com linguagens artísticas e suas possibilidades de expressão. Em decorrência deste processo compreendemos um redimensionamento na concepção do papel da arte na educação, reconhecendo a formação de um (arte)-educador como construto contínuo, e que a aproximação com a arte gera reflexão, expressão, e singularidade, para o exercício da docência.

Abstract:
The present study seeks to reflect on the conceptions of art education from students of the course of Education in the Universidade Federal do Ceará, and so understand how the aesthetic dimension is crafted in the everyday life of course, promoting in-depth discussions about art, education, school and life that develop on that course. The studies undertaken in the discipline art education I offer a student initiation into a process of aesthetic literacy: experiences with artistic languages and its possibilities of expression. As a result of this process we understand a resizing in the conception of the role of art in education, recognizing the formation of an (art)-educator as continuous construct, and that the approach with the art generates reflection, expression, and singularity, for the exercise of teaching.
