FORMAÇÃO DOCENTE E SEXUALIDADE: AÇÃO EXTENSIONISTA NO CURSO DE PEDAGOGIA A DISTÂNCIA SABERES INDISPENSÁVEIS PARA FORMAÇÃO DOCENTE INICIAL E CONTINUADA
A educação na Universidade Estadual de Goiás (UEG) pauta-se em um ensino de qualidade e gratuito e, em uma concepção de aprendizagem estruturada a partir da indissociabilidade entre ensino, pesquisa e extensão, na educação presencial e a distância. Neste contexto, a extensão é um dos pilares para o êxito acadêmico na formação inicial docente. O Projeto de extensão Formação Docente e Sexualidade é uma atividade que transversou as questões relacionadas a diversidade existente no contexto escolar e na atuação docente em sala de aula em relação ao corpo, sexualidade e gênero e, contribuiu para a discussão, necessária, neste campo. A extensão foi ministrada em dois polos de apoio presencial: Alexânia-GO e Pirenópolis-GO e, contou com 124 cursistas, distribuídos entre acadêmicos do curso de Pedagogia, na modalidade a distância, ofertado pelo Centro de Ensino e Aprendizagem em Rede (CEAR) na UEG e professores das secretarias municipais de educação dos referidos municípios. A investigação estruturou-se dentro de uma abordagem qualitativa, com pesquisa bibliográfica e de campo para verificar como os saberes em relação ao corpo, sexualidade e gênero foram construídos pelos cursistas e professores da rede municipal de ensino das duas cidades citadas. Buscou-se analisar quais conhecimentos, desenvolvidos por meio de projetos de extensão são necessários para superar ou minimizar os conflitos a discriminação inerentes a estas temáticas, dentro do contexto escolar. Os resultados mostraram que dos 124 participantes, 98% não se sentem preparados para falar sobre nenhum assunto como: sexualidade, raça e gênero, orientação sexual, dentre outros; somente, 2% disseram já ter participado de formação na área, mas que, neste projeto, aprenderam mais com os debates e, por isso discutirão com seus alunos, pelo menos um dos assuntos abordados no projeto extensionista.

Abstract:
Education at the State University of Goiás (UEG) is based on quality and free education and on a conception of structured learning based on the inseparability between teaching, research and extension, in face-to-face and distance education. In this context, extension is one of the pillars for academic success in initial teacher training. The Teacher Training and Sexuality extension project is an activity that cuts across issues related to the existing diversity in the school context and in the teaching performance in the classroom in relation to the body, sexuality and gender, and contributed to the necessary discussion in this field. The extension was given in two on-site support centers: Alexânia-GO and Pirenópolis-GO, and had 124 students, distributed among students of the Pedagogy course, in the distance mode, offered by the Center for Teaching and Learning in Network (CEAR) at UEG and teachers from the municipal education secretariats of the aforementioned municipalities. The investigation was structured within a qualitative approach, with bibliographic and field research to verify how the knowledge in relation to the body, sexuality and gender were constructed by the course participants and teachers from the municipal education network of the two cities mentioned. We sought to analyze what knowledge, developed through extension projects, is necessary to overcome or minimize conflicts and discrimination inherent to these themes, within the school context. The results showed that of the 124 participants, 98% do not feel prepared to talk about any subject such as: sexuality, race and gender, sexual orientation, among others; only 2% said they had already participated in training in the area, but that, in this project, they learned more from the debates and, for this reason, they will discuss with their students, at least one of the subjects covered in the extension project.
