FORMAÇÃO DOCENTE E ENSINO DE CIÊNCIAS NOS ANOS INICIAIS DO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL: O USO DAS TIC NESSE CONTEXTO
O presente estudo tem como
objetivo discutir a formação de professores e o
ensino de Ciências, voltados aos anos iniciais
do ensino fundamental, com foco na utilização
das tecnologias da informação e comunicação
(TIC) e na contribuição que elas podem trazer
para as atividades de ensino e aprendizagem.
A pesquisa foi desenvolvida junto a um grupo
de professores que atuavam no quarto e no
quinto anos, em uma escola pública estadual
paulista, voltada aos anos iniciais, através da
observação participante. Além dos encontros
presenciais, o pesquisador lançou mão de um
ambiente virtual para a realização de atividades
entre esses encontros. Aspectos peculiares
ao trabalho docente, desde conteúdos para
as quais o professor dos anos iniciais não
teve formação acadêmica específica, ficaram
evidenciados, ressaltando-se a insegurança que
essa questão pode gerar no desenvolvimento
de determinados temas. A valorização dos
conhecimentos prévios trazidos pelos alunos, o
desenvolvimento de atividades que privilegiam
a investigação no processo educativo e a
efetividade da constante reflexão sobre a
prática, configuraram-se pontos importantes da
pesquisa. Em relação ao uso das TIC, ficaram
evidentes alguns aspectos, como: a necessidade
de um planejamento real das atividades, a
importância de discutir as futuras atividades,
previamente, no grupo de professores, além
do conhecimento aprofundado sobre o que
cada recurso permite. A realização de ações
de formação que se desenvolvem no local de
atuação dos professores permite que sejam
observadas e consideradas as variáveis
do cotidiano escolar, o que potencializa as
reflexões sobre a prática docente, mantendo-se
o foco nas necessidades desse grupo.

Abstract:
The present article aims at
discussing the teachers’ education and the
science teaching in the first years of primary
school With a focus on the use of Information
and Communication Technologies (ICT) and
the contribution they can bring to the activities
of teaching and learning. The research was
developed with a group of teachers who worked
in the fourth and fifth years, in a public school in
São Paulo state focused on early years, through
participant observation. In addition to the face-to-face meetings, the researcher resorted
to a virtual environment to perform activities between these meetings. Peculiar aspects
to the teaching work, since content for which the teacher of early years had no specific
academic training, were evidenced, emphasizing the insecurity that this issue can
lead in the development of certain themes. The valuation of prior knowledge brought
by students, the development of activities that favor the research in the educational
process and the effectiveness of the constant reflection on practice, configured to
important points of the research. In relation to the use of ICT, became evident some
aspects, such as: the need for a real planning of activities, the importance of discussing
the future activities, previously, in the group of teachers, in addition to the in-depth
knowledge about what each feature allows. The completion of training actions that
develop at the site of action of teachers allows them to be observed and considered the
variables of the daily school, which potentiates the reflections on the teaching practice,
keeping the focus on the needs of this group.
