Abstract: The present work presents results of a research with character of descriptive and exploratory exposition, held among students of the degree in Biological Sciences from the Regional University of Cariri, Decentralized Unit of Campos Sales-CE,which questions the conception of the graduates of the mentioned course regarding the teaching profession and their feelings in relation to the course and their future profession.his research has as main objective. to analyze the undergraduate students' view of teaching before and after the practical experience in the classroom during the supervised internship,presenting the opinion from this and bringing the main challenges found in this discovery, as well as reflecting on the training of Science and Biology teachers.The present research becomes of relevant significance for approaching an area of great importance as the expectations about the teaching of future professionals in the area,thus enriching scientific knowledge on the notion that students have of teaching before entering the classroom.The results obtained through the application of the online form were carefully analyzed taking into account the particularities of each participant,From this analysis, it was indicated that most students did not have the Biology course as their first option,result of choosing a more accessible course that would allow access to higher education certification to enter the job market, having as a consequence of this immature choice the non-identification with the course and with the teaching,the other interviewees declared having chosen the course because they were interested in the biological sciences, as well as in the teaching career.
