Fopin: report of experience in the creation of the I Film Festival Focaliza Parintins
Este artigo tem o objetivo de relatar a experiência na realização do I Festival de Cinema Focaliza Parintins (Fopin) promovido pelo curso de Comunicação Social da Universidade Federal do Amazonas (Ufam), em Parintins, no interior do Amazonas. O evento ocorreu em dezembro de 2019, com objetivo inicial de ser apenas uma atividade avaliativa na disciplina Jornalismo Cultural. O festival, no entanto, tomou outras proporções envolvendo não apenas alunos da disciplina, mas também professores do curso, familiares dos alunos e a comunidade em geral. O Fopin é o primeiro festival de cinema promovido pelo curso e o único na cidade de Parintins.

Abstract:
This article aims to report the experience in conducting the I Film Festival Focaliza Parintins (Fopin) promoted by the Social Communication course of the Universidade Federal do Amazonas (Ufam), in Parintins, in the Amazon’s countryside. The event took place on December, 2019, with the initial objective of being just an evaluative activity in the Cultural Journalism. The festival, however, took on other proportions involving not only students of the discipline, but also teachers of the course, family members of the students and the community in general. Fopin is the first film festival promoted by the course and the only one in the city of Parintins.
