FITOTOXICIDADE DE RESÍDUOS VEGETAIS NO SOLO E SEU USO EM SEMENTES DE ARROZ
O presente artigo traz uma revisão de literatura referente a fitotoxicidade de resíduos vegetais que afetam a plantas, sobretudo as plantas de arroz. Os ácidos orgânicos produzidos pela decomposição dos resíduos que permanecem nas lavouras, principalmente o ácido acético e o ácido propiônico, afetam a germinação das sementes. Além disso, outros fatores como o índice de velocidade de germinação (IVG) e o índice de velocidade de emergência (IVE) são afetados pela presença desses ácidos orgânicos na solução de solo. Por fim, percebe-se que a presença desses ácidos no solo afetam principalmente as raízes das plantas, prejudicando a absorção de nutrientes e o desenvolvimento inicial das plântulas.

Abstract:
This article presents a literature review regarding the phytotoxicity of plant residues that affect plants, especially rice plants. Organic acids produced by the decomposition of residues that remain in crops, mainly acetic acid and propionic acid, affect seed germination. In addition, other factors such as germination velocity index (IVG) and emergence velocity index (IVE) are affected by the presence of these organic acids in the soil solution. Finally, it is noticed that the presence of these acids in the soil mainly affect the roots of the plants, impairing the absorption of nutrients and the initial development of the seedlings.
