FILOSOFIA UBUNTU COMO PRÁTICA POLÍTICO-PEDAGÓGICA DE CONSTRUÇÃO DE IDENTIDADE NEGRA E CONSCIÊNCIA AFRO-DIASPÓRICA NA EDUCAÇÃO INFANTIL
Este trabalho pretende abordar
a utilização da filosofia Ubuntu como prática
político-pedagógica com crianças da educação
infantil da Rede Municipal de Ensino do Rio
de Janeiro, demonstrando a importância da
afrocentricidade no currículo da educação
básica e, consequentemente, na implementação
prática da lei 10.639/03, explicitando as
influências no âmbito comportamental e no
desenvolvimento da autoestima e construção
de um autoconceito positivo, principalmente
entre as crianças negras. O resgate identitário
e a conexão com a ancestralidade presentes na
filosofia africana proporcionam às crianças do
segmento de educação infantil a possibilidade
de reconhecer e valorizar sua descendência
africana e a reduzirem o peso dos estigmas
negativos provocados pelo racismo histórico e
estrutural presente na sociedade brasileira.

Abstract:
This work intends to approach
the use of the Ubuntu philosophy as a
political-pedagogical practice with children
who attend to Rio de Janeiro’s public schools,
demonstrating the importance of afrocentricity
in their curriculum and, consequently, in the
practical implementation of the law 10.639 /
03 , explaining the influences in the behavioral
scope and in the development of the self-esteem
and construction of a positive self-concept,
mainly among black children. The building
of identity and the connection with ancestry
through African philosophy gives kindergarden
kids the possibility of recognizing and valuing
their African descent and reducing the negative
stigmas brought by historical and structural
racism present in Brazilian society.
