Abstract: The advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) has had a significant impact on society, especially in the educational field. Tools such as ChatGPT and Gemini, based on natural language processing, offer text production resources that have sparked debates about the role of critical thinking in education. This study, developed as part of the completion of the Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy, seeks to understand the implications of the use of AI in education, highlighting the contribution of Philosophy to overcoming automatic thinking and promoting students' intellectual autonomy. The research, which uses a qualitative approach, was conducted through a bibliographic review of databases such as SciELO, Google Scholar and CAPES Journals, supplemented by printed bibliographies. The investigation was guided by the following question-problem: how can Philosophy contribute to critical teaching in a context of usability of artificial intelligence in education? Based on the bibliographic review, a teaching sequence was developed based on the theoretical concepts of Zabala (1998) and the generative themes of Freire (1987), with a focus on the development of thought according to Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics. The main objective is to promote the integral education of students. The teaching sequence, lasting approximately two hours, is structured in nine stages and can be applied by Philosophy teachers in Elementary School II and/or High School. Each stage was designed to foster critical thinking, ethical reflection and student autonomy, using methodologies such as discussion groups, research, production of summaries, practical exercises and formative and qualitative assessment.
