FIDELIZAÇÃO DOS ALUNOS NOS CURSOS DE ENGENHARIA
O foco deste artigo é descrever a
respeito de uma problemática instigante que se
tem vivenciado no Ensino Superior relacionada
à permanência de alunos, principalmente nos
primeiros anos da graduação de Engenharia.
Diversos estudos e encontros, tais como as
Conferências Latino Americanas sobre o
Abandono no Ensino Superior (CLABES), que
ocorrem anualmente, propiciam que as mais
diversas instituições de Ensino Superior, imersas
em diferentes contextos, compartilhem suas
experiências sobre esta temática. Este estudo
tem por objetivo descrever alguns fatores que
contribuem para a permanência dos alunos nos
cursos de Engenharia. A metodologia adotada
é de revisão de literatura sobre o assunto em
questão. Procedeu-se a análise textual com
contribuição das práticas dos pesquisadores.
Os diversos autores apontam que uma
pedagogia inovadora e metodologias ativas,
relacionadas à aprendizagem, são elementos
chaves para a fidelização dos alunos nas
Engenharias. Conclui-se por novas formas de
ensinar e de aprender a fim de que os alunos se
engajem verdadeiramente em seus processos
de aprendizagem como dispositivo para sua
permanência na escolha pelas engenharias.

Abstract:
The focus of this article is to
describe a challenging problem that has been
experienced in Higher Education related to
the permanence of students, especially in the
first years of the Engineering degree. Several
studies and meetings, such as the Latin
American Conferences on the Abolition of Higher
Education (CLABES), which occur annually,
allow the most diverse institutions of Higher
Education, immersed in different contexts,
to share their experiences on this subject.
This study aims to describe some factors that
contribute to the permanence of students in
Engineering courses. The methodology adopted
is to review the literature about the subject in
question. The textual analysis was carried out
with contribution of the researchers' practices.
The different authors point out that an innovative
pedagogy and active methodologies related
to learning are key elements for the students'
loyalty in Engineering. It concludes by new ways
of teaching and learning so that students truly
engage in their learning processes as a device
for their stay in the choice of engineering.
