Ficção e Reportagem em Crônica de uma Morte Anunciada
Ainda que apresentam evidentes proximidades, jornalismo e literatura possuem características que podem ser apontadas como marcos reguladores de uma grande diferença entre as duas áreas: o fato de o jornalismo trabalhar, necessariamente, com a verdade, e da literatura permitir o uso da ficção. A partir de tais definições básicas, o presente busca apontar técnicas do texto jornalístico e da rotina produtiva do jornalismo que o escritor colombiano Gabriel Garcia Márquez faz uso para produzir verossimilhança na narrativa de “Crônica de uma morte anunciada“ (1981). O corpus foi escolhido por ter sido definido, pelo próprio autor, como uma falsa reportagem e, simultaneamente, um falso romance, conceitos antagônicos e aparentemente inconciliáveis, mas que coabitam os parágrafos de todo o livro, obra emblemática por representar o retorno do escritor ao mercado literário após seis anos, o mais extenso período de inatividade de sua carreira após o sucesso de “ Cem Anos de Solidão“.

Abstract:
Although they present evident proximity, journalism and literature have characteristics that can be pointed as regulatory milestones of a great difference between the two areas: the fact that journalism necessarily works with the truth, and literature allows the use of fiction. From these basic definitions, the present text seeks to point out techniques of the journalistic text and the productive routine of journalism that Colombian writer Gabriel Garcia Márquez uses to produce likelihood in the narrative of “Chronicle of a Death Foretold” (1981). The corpus was chosen because it was defined by the author itself as a false journalistic report and, simultaneously, a false novel, antagonistic and apparently irreconcilable concepts, but which cohabit the paragraphs of the entire book, an emblematic work because it represents the writer's return to literary market after six years, the longest period of inactivity in his career after the success of “One Hundred Years of Solitude”.
