FEMINISMO E JUVENTUDE PERIFÉRICA: Considerações para o debate
O presente artigo objetiva discutir a necessidade de ampliação do conhecimento acadêmico sobre a incidência do feminismo, dos seus discursos, e o envolvimento em ações coletivas neste sentido entre mulheres jovens e adolescentes periféricas. Tal questão parte do anseio das autoras em aprofundar nesta temática em virtude dos poucos trabalhos encontrados que discorrem sobre o assunto e sua relevância. Assim, tentamos realizar um breve resgate histórico sobre o feminismo no Brasil, conhecer a incidência da juventude nesse movimento, e discutir sobre a presença das mulheres jovens e adolescentes periféricas nele. Concluímos que ainda são emergentes os estudos a respeito das estratégias de luta de jovens mulheres e adolescentes e sua ação política, e que este tópico é ainda mais restrito quanto consideramos as jovens de periferia. Acreditamos que compreender as pautas, articulações e modos organizativos das adolescentes e jovens em territórios periféricos contribuem para a ampliação do conhecimento sobre as mulheres em toda a sua diversidade.

Abstract:
This article aims to discuss the necessity to expand academic knowledge about the incidence of feminism, its discourses, and the involvement in collective actions in this sense among slum young women and adolescents. This issue is part of the authors' desire to deepen this theme because of the few papers they have found about the subject and its relevance. Thus, we try to make a brief historical rescue on feminism in Brazil, to know the incidence of youth in this movement, and to discuss the presence of slum young women and adolescents in it. We conclude that studies on the strategies of the struggle of young women and adolescents and their political action are still emerging, and that this topic is even more restricted when considering the slum young women. We believe that understanding the patterns, articulations and organizational modes of adolescents and young people in peripheral territories contributes to the expansion of knowledge about women in all their diversity.
