FEMININE EMPOWERMENT IN FAMILY FARMING
O estudo, de cunho bibliográfico, buscou demonstrar a importância da mulher do campo, como partícipe decisiva na economia da pequena propriedade da agricultura familiar. Neste contexto, o empoderamento é ação decisiva em busca de sua sustentabilidade. O texto aborta a temática do empoderamento, do feminismo e questões de gênero, da agricultora familiar e seu lugar de fala. Apresenta as discussões da sociedade atual, que cobra uma maior participação da mulher no contexto das decisões que afetam a sua realidade, bem como na mudança de paradigmas da própria sociedade, que ainda considera o empoderamento feminino um tabu. Na propriedade rural este é um tema que carece de maiores discussões, inclusive entre as próprias mulheres, através de suas entidades de classe, associações e órgãos representativos.

Abstract:
The bibliographical study attempted to demonstrate the importance of the rural woman as a decisive participant in the small family farming economy. In this context, empowerment is decisive action in search of its sustainability. The text aborts the theme of empowerment, feminism and gender issues, the family farming and her place of speech. It presents the discussions of the current society, which demands a greater participation of women in the context of the decisions that affect their reality, as well as in the paradigm shift of the society itself, which still considers female empowerment a taboo. In rural property this is a subject that needs further discussions, including between women themselves, through their class entities, associations and representative agencies.
