FECHAMENTO DE ESCOLAS NO CAMPO – UMA CRUEL REALIDADE
O estudo é resultado de uma pesquisa a respeito do fechamento de escolas rurais, com um olhar sobre a microrregião de Paranavaí-PR-Brasil. Analisa a realidade desde a abertura até o fechamento de escolas em 20 municípios, entre 1956 e 2015. No período analisado, das 353 escolas criadas, 345 foram fechadas, o que significa 97,7% de escolas fechadas. Os municípios passaram a utilizar o transporte escolar diário das crianças entre seu habitat no campo e a escola urbanizada. A realização da pesquisa objetivou conhecer as causas e as consequências do fechamento das escolas para a região investigada e teve a participação de acadêmicos de diferentes cursos de graduação da Universidade Estadual do Paraná (UNESPAR). Os dados apontam caos educacional no campo, uma cruel realidade, sem retorno em termos do desaparecimento das escolas e da população, tendo por consequência a concentração das terras em poucas mãos, da dissipação do pequeno agricultor, da agricultura familiar e da vida cultural historicamente presenciada no entorno da igreja, campo de futebol e comércio.

Abstract:
This paper is the result of a study on the closure of rural schools, with a closer look upon the northwest region of the Paraná, in particular on the micro-region of Paranavaí. It analyze the reality of rural school, from the opening to the closure, in 20 cities between 1956 and 2015. In the period of analyzes 353 schools were open and 345 were closed, which mean that 97.7% of the school were closed. The cities started to use the daily school transportation of children between their homes in the countryside to the urbanized schools. The research was carried out with the objective of knowing the causes and consequences of the closure of schools for the investigated region and had the participation of academics from different undergraduate courses at the State University of Paraná (UNESPAR). The data show educational chaos in the rural region, a cruel reality, with no return in terms of the vanishing of schools and population, resulting of the concentration of land in few hands, and the dissipation of the small farmer, the family farming, and the cultural life, historically witnessed around the church, the family, soccer fields, and trade.
