Fundamental, compreender o desenvolvimento

da leitura e escrita na sala de aula de modo

que contribua para a organização do trabalho

pedagógico no cotidiano escolar. Por isso, o

objetivo da presente pesquisa é entender que

fator principal está levando alunos do 4.o

Ano

de uma escola municipal a não conseguirem

ler nem compreender textos simples, além da

dificuldade na escrita. O instrumento de coleta de

dados foi a observação participante em estágio.

Este trabalho caracteriza-se como de caráter

qualitativo. A expectativa é que os resultados

contribuam para uma discussão significativa

sobre os fatores que interferem na capacidade

da leitura e da escrita em estudantes do 4.o

Ano

do Ensino Fundamental.

Abstract:
It is believed that the importance

of the literacy teacher in Elementary School on

the process of comprehension of reading and

writing development during classes, in such

a way that it contributes to the organization

of the pedagogical work in the daily school

life. For this reason, this research has as goal

understanding why there is students from 4th

grade who don’t know how to read, write or

comprehend simple texts besides the difficulty

in writing. The instrument of data collection was

participant observation in stage. This work is

characterized as having a qualitative character.

The expectation is that the results contribute

for a meaningful discussion in the way of

comprehend the factors that could interfere on

the abilities of Reading and writing of students

from 4th grade of the Elementary School.
