FATORES DE DESISTÊNCIA NA ESCOLA: ALUNOS DE UM CURSO TÉCNICO INTEGRADO AO ENSINO MÉDIO
Neste artigo, apresentam-se algumas reflexões sobre evasão escolar, realizadas por pesquisadores que vêm se dedicando ao estudo desse tema em diferentes contextos. Os dados foram coletados como primeira etapa de uma pesquisa mais ampla cujo objetivo é verificar o que pensam os alunos de um curso técnico profissionalizante integrado ao nível médio do Instituto Federal de São Paulo sobre as ações desenvolvidas na escola com vistas a incentivar a permanência dos alunos na escola. As informações resultam de revisão de literatura ainda em fase inicial e indicam que a evasão escolar é um problema que atinge muitas escolas e sistemas de ensino no Brasil.

Abstract:
This article presents some reflections about school dropouts, accomplished by researchers who have been dedicating to the study of this theme in different contexts. The data here presented has been collected as the first stage of a broader research whose objective is to verify what do the students of a professional technical course integrated to the high school of the Federal Institute of São Paulo think about the actions developed in the school with a view to encouraging the permanence of the students at school. The data presented in this article are the result of a literature review still in its initial phase and indicate that school dropout is a problem that affects many schools and education systems in Brazil.
