• Abstract: Vaccines are an essential demarcation of universal health, preventing diseases with immunization. Vaccination campaign initiatives are essential for eliminating diseases such as smallpox and polio, hence the importance of vaccination programs created by the government. In Brazil, the SUS offers free vaccines in basic health units, but access is not always quick and individualized. Pharmacies have vaccines available for those looking for agility and individuality when it comes to getting vaccinated, and pharmacists play a key role in administering vaccines safely, following specific guidelines that guarantee efficacy and caution for patients. In this descriptive and exploratory study, coordinated from June 2023 to May 2024, the role and performance of the pharmacist in the vaccination context in Brazil was evaluated. The responsibilities of the pharmaceutical sector are being reviewed, using the Scielo, Google Scholar, CRF, CFF, ANVISA, WHO and PAHO databases as a data source, with emphasis on recent information dating back to 2020. The objective of this article is to analyze laws and RDCs (collegiate board resolutions) that aim to promote the role of pharmacists in the area of ​​vaccination in Brazil. The complementary data comes from articles available on the internet that address topics such as investments, cost, necessary materials, structure, documents and proposed specializations that cover everything you need to know before entering into the practice of vaccinations, estimate the pharmaceutical profession in the practice of vaccinations and guide pharmacists who wish to join the practice of vaccinations in the future.
