FAARTES VIRTUAL: UM MODELO DE AMBIENTE VIRTUAL PARA O ENSINO DE ARTES NA UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DO AMAZONAS
Implementar ambientes de
ensino aprendizagem que integre o uso das
Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação -
TICs obedece principalmente ao crescimento
da difusão da informação e da comunicação
em formato digital em âmbito mundial, assim
como ao constante desenvolvimento das
redes telemáticas que possibilitam maior
interatividade e interconectividade entre os mais
variados sistemas educativos. Neste sentido,
a universidade tem a responsabilidade de
desenvolver, disponibilizar e integrar recursos
que venham atender as novas exigências
sociais geradas pela presença das TIC’s no
contexto da sociedade e consequentemente no
contexto educativo. O presente artigo tem como
objetivo descrever um modelo de Universidade
Virtual adaptado ao contexto amazônico. No
primeiro momento, discutimos e apresentamos
alguns conceitos pertinentes a estrutura e
organização de uma universidade virtual, na
sequencia apresentamos uma proposta de
projeto de universidade virtual, que torna este
processo mais ativo, estimulante, autônomo
e atrativo e consequentemente incrementasignificativamente a oferta de formação no
Estado e em toda a Região Amazônica.

Abstract:
Implementing teaching - learning
environments that integrate Information and
Communication Technologies uses (ICTs) is
mainly due to the growth in the information and
communication dissemination in digital format
worldwide, as well as the constant telematic
networks development, which allow greater
interactivity and interconnectivity among the most
varied educational systems. So, the university is
in charge of the development, availability and
resources integration that meet the new social
demands generated by the ICT presence in
the society context and consequently in the
educational context. The present article aims to
describe a Virtual University model, adapted to
the Amazonian context. In the first moment, we
discuss and present some concepts, pertinent to
a virtual university structure and organization, in
the sequence, we present a proposal of a virtual
university project, which makes this process
more active, stimulating, autonomous, attractive
and consequently increases the offer of training
in the State and throughout the Amazon Region.
