EXPERIÊNCIAS E LUTAS DOS PROFESSORES DA REDE PÚBLICA ESTADUAL DE PERNAMBUCO NO PERÍODO DA TRANSIÇÃO DEMOCRÁTICA (1979-1985)
O objetivo deste artigo é discutir sobre as experiências e lutas empreendidas por professores e professoras da Rede Pública Estadual de Pernambuco no período correspondente ao processo de abertura política no Brasil. Trata-se, pois, da ampliação de uma discussão que tratamos em ocasião anterior (SILVA, 2019). Neste sentido, nosso recorte demarca a primeira greve geral dos docentes no referido estado, a qual constituiu-se como um marco das lutas da categoria no sentido de reivindicar melhores condições de vida e trabalho, e a realização do terceiro Encontro Estadual dos Professores, no qual se discutiram demandas importantes para a sociedade naquele momento, como a realização de uma Assembleia Constituinte. Segundo uma das possibilidades de interpretação sobre as fontes, sob a direção de um grupo de professores mais afeto ao governo, a Associação dos Professores do Ensino Oficial de Pernambuco (APENOPE) não representava de fato os interesses da categoria, preservando a manutenção de práticas assistencialistas. Sendo assim, com notável influência do movimento do novo sindicalismo, professores e professoras que faziam oposição à referida direção mobilizaram as bases da categoria e iniciaram o movimento grevista de 1979, conferindo uma postura mais combativa ao movimento docente no estado, que resultaria na assunção de novas práticas e bandeiras de luta ao longo dos anos posteriores.

Abstract:
The purpose of this article is to discuss the experiences and fights undertaken by teachers from the Pernambuco State Public Network in the period corresponding to the political opening process in Brazil. It is, therefore, the expansion of a discussion that we discussed on a previous occasion (SILVA, 2019). In this sense, our cut out marks the first general strike of teachers in that state, which was a milestone in the struggles of the category in order to claim better living and working conditions, and the holding of the third State Meeting of Teachers, in the which important demands for society at that time were discussed, such as the holding of a Constituent Assembly. According to one of the possibilities of interpretation on the sources, under the direction of a group of teachers more affectionate to the government, the Association of Teachers of Official Education of Pernambuco (APENOPE) did not actually represent the interests of the category, preserving the maintenance of welfare practices . Thus, with a notable influence of the new union movement, teachers who opposed that direction mobilized the bases of the category and started the strike movement in 1979, giving a more combative stance to the teaching movement in the state, which would result in the assumption of new practices and flags of struggle over the following years.
