EXPERIÊNCIA EXTENSIONISTA NA ÁREA DE EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL COM UM ENFOQUE GLOBALIZADOR A PARTIR DO TEMA RESÍDUOS: CONTRIBUINDO PARA UMA METODOLOGIA EDUCATIVA AMBIENTAL CRÍTICA E TRANSFORMADORA
Este artigo tem como objetivo relatar uma experiência de atividades de extensão relacionada a área de Educação Ambiental realizada por alunos bolsistas, voluntários e professores da Universidade Feevale, do Rio Grande do Sul. O Projeto Vivenciando a Educação Ambiental atua em cada semestre em uma escola pública de Novo Hamburgo, com o intuito de levar até os discentes das respectivas instituições diferentes estratégias pedagógicas com o objetivo de desenvolver nos alunos um olhar crítico em relação ao meio ambiente. O projeto de extensão é dividido em temáticas, porém relacionadas entre si, e neste artigo será relatado o tema resíduos sólidos e reciclagem, na qual os discentes coletaram embalagens plásticas durante o semestre para, no final deste, realizarem uma vista técnica em dois espaços da Universidade Feevale na qual verificaram o processo de segregação e transformação destes resíduos. Como resultado desta atividade, os alunos se mostraram ainda mais eufóricos e questionadores.

Abstract:
This article aims to report an experience of extension activities related to the Environmental Education area carried out by scholarships students, volunteers and professors at Feevale University, in Rio Grande do Sul. The Project Experiencing Environmental Education acts every semester in a public school in Novo Hamburgo, with the purpose of bringing different pedagogical strategies to the students of the respective institutions in order to develop on them a critical view of the environment. The extension project is divided into thematics, but related to each other, and in this article the theme of solid waste and recycling will be reported, in which the students collected plastic packages during the semester for, at the end of it, perform a technical visit in two spaces at Feevale University where they verified the process of segregation and transformation of this waste. As a result of this activity, the students were even more delighted and inquisitive.
