EXPANSÃO URBANA E VULNERABILIDADE AMBIENTAL NO DISTRITO SEDE DE SENADOR CANEDO – GO 2008 – 2018
A expansão desordenada das cidades acarreta uma série de problemas à população. Problemas esses que somam vulnerabilidades de ordem ambiental, econômica e social. O presente estudo tem como objetivo analisar o histórico da evolução urbana do município de Senador Canedo, estado de Goiás – Brasil. Inserido na Região Metropolitana de Goiânia (RMG), onde a expansão urbana do município, diretamente atrelada ao crescimento de Goiânia, ocorreu de forma rápida, acelerada e sem ordenamento, o que favoreceu a produção de uma série de vulnerabilidades institucionais, sociais e ambientais. Para tal, fez-se uso da metodologia proposta por Zuquette (1987), que se propõe analisar e avaliar atributos do meio físico e seu comportamento a partir de diferentes formas de ocupação visando orientar condições para planejamento e ocupação a fim de auxiliar na mitigação de problemas em cursos e possíveis impasses futuros na ocupação irregular ou inadequada nos centros urbanos.

Abstract:
The disorderly expansion of cities brings a series of problems to the population. These problems add to environmental, economic and social vulnerabilities. This study aims to analyze the history of urban evolution in the municipality of Senador Canedo, state of Goiás – Brazil. Inserted in the Metropolitan Region of Goiânia (RMG), where the urban expansion of the municipality, directly linked to the growth of Goiânia, occurred quickly, accelerated and without ordering, which favored the production of a series of institutional, social and environmental vulnerabilities. To this end, the methodology proposed by Zuquette (1987) was used, which proposes to analyze and evaluate attributes of the physical environment and its behavior from different forms of occupation in order to guide conditions for planning and occupation in order to help in the mitigation of problems in courses and possible future impasses in irregular or inadequate occupation in urban centers.
