EXCISÃO CIRÚRGICA DE CISTOS PERIRENAIS E MARSUPIALIZAÇÃO DA CÁPSULA RENAL EM GATO SENIL – RELATO DE CASO
Os cistos perirenais são caracterizados pelo acúmulo de fluido ao redor de um ou ambos os rins, que são delineados por uma camada fibrosa, sem a presença do tecido epitelial. É uma enfermidade comum em gatos idosos. Os pseudocistos são classificados conforme o tipo de fluido, sendo o mais comum o transudato (idiopático). Os animais apresentam distensão abdominal, azotemia e irregularidades na superfície renal no exame de ultrassonografia. Pode-se realizar a drenagem percutânea dos cistos perirenais ou capsulotomia associado com a omentalização. O relato de caso é sobre um felino idoso, o mesmo apresentava pseudocistos em ambos os rins e azotemia. Foi submetido à intervenção cirúrgica para remoção dos cistos e marsupialização da cápsula renal. Entretanto o tutor decidiu pela eutanásia do animal. Pacientes com cistos perirenais apresentam uma favorável indicação para técnica, sendo que sua aplicação deveria ser exercida no quadro inicial da doença.

Abstract:
Perirenal cysts are characterized by accumulation of fluid around both kidneys, which are delineated by a fibrous layer without the presence of epithelial tissue. It is a common nurse in older cats. The pseudocysts are classified according to the type of fluid, being the most common or the transudate. The animals present abdominal distension, azotemia and irregularities in the renal surface without examination of ultrasonography. Percutaneous drainage of the perirenal cysts or capsulotomy associated with omentalization may be performed. The case report is about an old feline, the same one that presented pseudocysts in both kidneys and azotemia. It underwent surgery to remove the cysts and marsupialization of the renal capsule. Then the tutor decided to euthanize the animal. Patients with perirenal cysts present a useful indication for the technique, and their application should be at the beginning of the disease.
