“EXCELLENTISSIMO CONSELHO”: ECONOMIA E SOCIEDADE EM SERGIPE DEL REY NAS ATAS DO CONSELHO DE GOVERNO DA PROVÍNCIA (1824-1831)
No presente estudo pretende-se identificar de que forma a elite local da província, através de sua participação no Conselho de Governo da Província de Sergipe entre os anos de 1824 a 1831, enfrentou as questões de ordem econômica e encaminhou a resolução destas no Primeiro Reinado. A metodologia adotada foi a análise documental das atas de reuniões do Conselho, juntamente com uma pesquisa bibliográfica sobre o tema. Em termos de referenciais teóricos, a pesquisa foi conduzida sobre o olhar da Nova História Política e suas implicações na historiografia. Concluindo-se a pesquisa proposta, espera-se contribuir para o esclarecimento do processo de formação do Brasil, enquanto Estado-Nação, sob o viés das questões econômicas regionais, na Província de Sergipe Del Rey, perante os percalços do estabelecimento de uma nova conjuntura política.

Abstract:
The present study intends to identify how the local elite of the province, through their participation in the Conselho de Governo da Província de Sergipe between the years 1824 to 1831, dealt with economic issues and led to their resolution in the Primeiro Reinado. The adopted methodology was the documentary analysis of the minutes of the Council meetings, together with a bibliographic research on the theme. In terms of theoretical references, the research will be conducted on the perspective of New Political History and its implications for historiography. Concluding the proposed research, it is expected to contribute to the clarification of the formation process of Brazil, as a Nation-State, under the bias of regional economic issues, in the Província de Sergipe Del Rey, in face of the obstacles of the establishment of a new conjuncture politics.
