EXAMES COMPLEMENTARES NA PRÁTICA DO ENFERMEIRO DA ESTRATÉGIA DE SAÚDE DA FAMÍLIA – ESF
Introdução: Identificar os exames
complementares solicitados por enfermeiros
atuantes na Estratégia de Saúde da Família e
os fatores que influenciam estas solicitações.
Método: Estudo exploratório, descritivo,
transversal com abordagem quantitativa dos
dados. Participaram da pesquisa enfermeiras
atuantes nas sete Estratégias de Saúde da
Família de um município do interior do Estado
do Rio Grande do Sul. Os dados foram obtidos
por meio da aplicação de uma planilha e um
questionário, durante o período de dois meses,
e após serem plotados em planilha eletrônica,
foram analisados por meio de estatística
descritiva e inferencial. Resultados e
discussão: Foram solicitados pelas enfermeiras
1856 exames laboratoriais, sendo os principais
critérios adotados para estas condutas durante
a consulta: a clínica apresentada pelo paciente
e as Diretrizes do Ministério da Saúde. Com
relação à segurança para solicitação de exames,
71,43% das participantes revelaram que não e
28,57% responderam sentir-se seguras para
realizar as solicitações. As participantes da
pesquisa responderam sobre quais diretrizes
seguiam para realizar a solicitação dos exames
complementares: 36,84% baseavam-se na
clínica apresentada pelo paciente no momento
da consulta; 36,84% nas Diretrizes do Ministério
da Saúde; 21,05% afirmaram seguir as
solicitações dos pacientes e 5,26% adotavam
as Diretrizes Municipais para as solicitações.
Conclusão: Acreditamos que problematizar
esse tema é de fundamental importância
para enfermagem, visto que tenciona, dá
poder, autoridade, autonomia e afirmação aos
profissionais para o exercício pleno, legal e ético
da profissão, retratando ainda que, embora a
experiência positiva evidenciada no trabalho,
não se trata de uma prática consolidada e
segura na ótica dos enfermeiros.

Abstract:
Introduction: To identify the complementary exams requested by
nurses working in the Family Health Strategy and the factors that influence these
requests. Method: Exploratory, descriptive, cross - sectional study with quantitative
data approach. Participants in the study were nurses working in the seven Family
Health Strategies of a city in the interior of the State of Rio Grande do Sul. Data were
obtained through the application of a spreadsheet and a questionnaire during the twomonth
period, and after being plotted in electronic spreadsheet, were analyzed through
descriptive and inferential statistics. Results and discussion: 1856 laboratory tests
were requested by the nurses. The main criteria adopted for these procedures during
the consultation were: the clinic presented by the patient and the Ministry of Health
guidelines. Regarding safety for requesting exams, 71.43% of the participants revealed
that no, and 28.57% said they feel safe to make requests. The participants answered
the following guidelines to perform the request for the complementary tests: 36.84%
were based on the clinic presented by the patient at the time of the consultation; 36.84%
in the Directives of the Ministry of Health; 21.05% said they followed the requests of the
patients and 5.26% adopted the Municipal Guidelines for the requests. Conclusion:
Therefore, we believe that problematizing this theme is of fundamental importance
for nursing, since it intends, gives power, authority, autonomy and affirmation to the
professionals for the full, legal and ethical exercise of the profession, also portraying
that, although the positive experience evidenced in the work, it is not a consolidated
and safe practice from the point of view of nurses.
