EVOLUÇÃO DO CURSO DE ENGENHARIA DE MINAS NA UEMG/JOÃO MONLEVADE EM SEUS 10 ANOS DE EXISTÊNCIA
O campus da Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais (FaEnge/UEMG), localizado na cidade de João Monlevade, completa dez anos de existência oferecendo os cursos de engenharia civil, engenharia metalúrgica, engenharia de minas e engenharia ambiental. A chegada da universidade trouxe grande perspectiva profissional para os jovens da cidade e região. Neste período, o campus vem crescendo com o objetivo de oferecer cursos de qualidade aos seus alunos. A melhoria do quadro docente, o oferecimento de monitorias e ampliação e construção dos laboratórios específicos são indicados como fatores importantes para o crescimento da faculdade.

Abstract:
The engineering campus of the University State of Minas Gerais (FaEnge/ UEMG), located in the city of João Monlevade has completed ten years of existence, offering the following courses: civil engineering, metallurgical engineering, mining engineering and environmental engineering. The establishment of the University has brought great professional perspective to the people in the city and its surroundings. In this period, the campus has been growing with the goal to offer quality courses to its students. The improvement of the faculty members, the offering of tutorings and the constrution of specific laboratories are perceived as importante factors to the growth of the University.
