EVOLUÇÃO DA PRODUÇÃO DO AÇAÍ NOS PRINCIPAIS MUNICÍPIOS DA MICRORREGIÃO DO GUAMÁ DE 2015 A 2021
O açaizeiro é uma palmeira de origem amazônica em que nos últimos anos vem ocorrendo o aumento da demanda do mercado. Apesar da grande relevância da cultura, o máximo potencial produtivo do açaizeiro ainda não foi atingido. Nesse contexto, o objetivo do estudo foi analisar a evolução do rendimento do açaí nos principais munícipios da microrregião do Guamá entre os anos de 2015 a 2021. Foi realizado um levantamento da série histórica da área colhida, quantidade produzida e rendimento médio dos municípios da microrregião do Guamá e do Pará. No ano de 2021, a área colhida total dos munícipios quadruplicou em relação a 2015, porém ainda representa 3,8% do total do Pará. A quantidade produzida seguiu o mesmo comportamento de aumento no período analisado. Por outro lado, o rendimento médio apresentou leve crescimento, em que somente nos anos de 2016, 2020 e 2021 a microrregião ultrapassou o rendimento médio do Pará. Assim, há necessidade de novas pesquisas para aprimorar o sistema de produção dessa cultura em terra firme.

Abstract:
The açaí tree is a palm tree of Amazonian region, which in recent years has seen an increase in market demand. Despite the great importance of the crop, the maximum productive potential of the açaí tree has not yet been reached. In this context, the objective of the study was to analyze the evolution of açaí productivity in the main cities of the Guamá microregion, between 2015 and 2021. A survey of the historical series of the harvested area, produced quantity and yield income of the cities of the microregion of Guamá and Pará State was carried out. In the year 2021, the total harvested area of the cities quadrupled compared to 2015, but still represents 3.8% of the total in Pará. The quantity produced followed the same behavior of increase in the analyzed period. The quantity produced followed the same behavior of increase in the analyzed period. On the other hand, the yield income showed a slight increase, in which only in the years 2016, 2020 and 2021 did the microregion exceed the average income of Pará. Thus, there is a need for further research to improve the production system of this crop on dry land.
