EVASÃO ESCOLAR E APRENDIZAGEM SIGNIFICATIVA – ALGUMAS CONSIDERAÇÕES
A aprendizagem significativa parte do princípio que o processo ensino-aprendizagem deve ter significado para quem aprende e estar vinculado aos seus conhecimentos prévios. Esse estudo bibliográfico tem como objetivo articular considerações sobre evasão escolar e aprendizagem significativa. Destaca, dentro do contexto amplo da evasão escolar, a prática do professor que precisa partir dos conhecimentos prévios dos estudantes com significatividade lógica e/ou psicológica para distanciar-se de uma aprendizagem mecânica, memorística.

Abstract:
Meaningful learning is based on the principle that the teaching-learning process must have meaning for who is learning and be linked to their previous knowledge. This bibliographic study aims to articulate considerations about school dropout and meaningful learning. It highlights, within the broad context of school dropout, the practice of the teacher who needs to start from the students' previous knowledge with logical and/or psychological significance to distance themselves from a mechanical, memoristic learning.
