Abstract: This work analyzes the processes of affiliation to institutional teaching and research evaluation programs carried out by professors of the Bachelor of Economics program at the Autonomous University of Nayarit. The development of evaluation of the National System of Researchers (SNI) and the Program for Teaching Professional Development (PRODEP), which is based on increasing the quality of teaching and the relevance of research, are actually processes that promote economic stimuli by adding to the teacher's normal salary, exclusively, since such benefits are granted to teachers who have the best qualifications. In the case of the Economics college, they had expressed reluctance to adjust to the conditions of the calls, considering that the work of teaching and research has specific dynamics, impossible to condition them to linear criteria of these organizations, this situation determined that until fifteen years ago There were only three teachers on the SIN register, currently it was increased to eight academics, in particular because it was decided that it was important to perceive these stimuli, which is not having a significant impact on the improvement of teaching or that the projects promote the link with the community.
