Abstract: This paper presents a theoretical approach to the concepts “organizational ethics”, “corporate social responsibility” and “business sustainability” with the interest of identifying the definitions, theories and scope of action in which each construct focuses. A qualitative research is used, a systematic literature review is used, according to (Mohamed Shaffril et al., 2021) consists of three phases: identification, definition of inclusion-exclusion criterial and eligibility. A review and analysis was carried out of 20 documents published in last 5 years in the scientific databases Scopus with the following descriptors “organizational ethics”, “corporate social responsibility”, and “business sustainability”. A backward review of other theoretical references was also made, for a total of 40 documents. The findings show that OE refers to internal decisions by a person or social unit in accordance with what is considered correct, while CSR is oriented to the satisfaction of needs, expectations and relationship with different stakeholders. Regarding sustainability, it is approached from three dimensions: economic, social and environmental. It is concluded that OE, CSR and business sustainability are related concepts that seek better organizational performance in the face of the expectations of different audiences. Business sustainability is the most appropriate term if it is understood from a comprehensive perspective that includes ethical or governance aspects, economic aspects, environmental aspects and social aspects (in all stakeholders).
