ESTUDOS DA ETNOZOOLOGIA NO BRASIL: UMA ANÁLISE CIENCIOMÉTRICA DE 1967 A 2017
A manifestação do conhecimento zoológico tradicional vem desde os primórdios, onde os primeiros hominídeos tomaram interesse pelas espécies animais com as quais conviviam e dependiam para sua sobrevivência. Registros sobre os modos de interação Homem/fauna vêm sendo registrados desde a época colonial. No entanto, estudos sobre etnozoologia ainda são escassos quando comparados àqueles destinados à etnobotânica. Desta forma, este trabalho objetivou avaliar a produção científica dos estudos publicados sobre Etnozoologia entre 1967 a 2017, através de análise cienciométrica. Para isto, foram realizadas buscas por artigos nas principais bases de dados científicas disponíveis na internet: Scielo e Scopus. Os dados foram analisados utilizando indicadores das tendências das pesquisas sobre o tema avaliado. Um total de 542 artigos foram analisados, no entanto, muitos apenas citavam a etnozoologia de forma indireta e não tratavam do tema em si. Do total de trabalhos encontrados, apenas 105 artigos foram listados, observando que houve alguns picos de publicações. A maioria dos trabalhos listados envolve organismos ictiológicos, seguindo uma abordagem voltada para percepções e conhecimentos tradicionais. As principais revistas foram Acta Scientiarum Biological Sciences e Journal of Ethnobiology and Ethnomedicine. A região nordeste apresentou o maior número de trabalhos publicados, sendo a caatinga o bioma mais estudado, e a Bahia foi o estado que liderou o ranking de todos os indicadores cienciometricos analisados. Concluímos que a etnozoologia é de fundamental importância, assim como a compreensão e valorização dos conhecimentos tradicionais, podendo auxiliar no conhecimento cientifico.

Abstract:
The manifestation of the traditional zoological knowledge comes from the beginnings, where the first hominids took interest by the animal species with which they coexisted and depended for their survival. Records on Man / fauna interaction modes have been recorded since colonial times. However, studies on ethnozoology are still scarce when compared to those aimed at ethnobotany. Thus, this work aimed to evaluate the scientific production of published studies on Ethnozoology between 1967 and 2017, through scientometric analysis. For this, we searched for articles in the main scientific databases available on the Internet: Scielo and Scopus. The data were imported and analyzed using indicators of the research trends on the evaluated subject. A total of 542 articles were imported and analyzed, however, many only cited ethnozoology indirectly and did not address the subject itself. From the total of works found, only 105 articles were listed, observing that there were some peaks of publications. Most of the listed works involve ichthyological organisms, following an approach focused on traditional perceptions and knowledge. The major journals were Acta Scientiarum Biological Sciences and Journal of Ethnobiology and Ethnomedicine. The northeastern region presented the largest number of published works, the caatinga being the most studied biome, and Bahia was the state that led the ranking of all the scientific indicators analyzed. We conclude that the ethnozoology is of fundamental importance, as well as the understanding and valorization of the traditional knowledge, being able to aid in the scientific knowledge.
