ESTUDO TEÓRICO: AUMENTO DA EFICIÊNCIA DE COLUNAS CROMATOGRÁFICAS POR APLICAÇÃO DE NANOPARTÍCULAS
Este trabalho procura reunir conhecimentos teóricos referentes a síntese de nanopartículas de sílica realizadas a partir do método de Stöber modificado, e as suas respectivas caracterizações de tamanho médio das mesmas; e os conhecimentos no campo da cromatografia, como o aumento teórico da eficiência, da resolução e da quantidade de Pratos Teóricos desses equipamentos a partir da aplicação destas nanopartículas de sílica na fase estacionária das colunas cromatográficas, focando principalmente no aumento do Número de Pratos Teóricos e seus efeitos para aprimoramento da resolução desses equipamentos.

Abstract:
This work seeks to gather theoretical knowledge regarding the synthesis of silica nanoparticles carried out using the modified Stöber method, and their respective mean size characterizations; and knowledge in the field of chromatography, such as the theoretical increase in efficiency, resolution, and quantity of Theoretical Plates of these equipment’s from the application of these silica nanoparticles in the stationary phase of chromatographic columns, focusing mainly on increasing the Number of Theoretical Plates and its effects to improve the resolution of these equipment.
