ESTUDO SOBRE A PERFORMANCE PERCUSSIVA DA CIRANDA DE MANACAPURU
As cirandas figuram entre as mais
populares manifestações musicais presentes
na região amazônica. Embora se tenha um
considerável volume de estudos folclorísticos
e sócio-antropológicos realizados acerca
desta manifestação, o estudo da performance
percussiva por ora, segue negligenciado. Nesta
reflexão, apresentamos um estudo sobre a
performance dos instrumentos de percussão da
Ciranda de Manacapuru, norteada em termos
metodológicos pelo que Anthony Seeger (2008)
propõe enquanto etnografia da música.

Abstract:
The cirandas are among the most
popular musical manifestations in the Amazon
region. Although there is a considerable volume
of folkloristic and socio-anthropological studies
carried out on this manifestation, the study of
percussive performance for the time remains
neglected. In this reflection, we present a
study on the performance of the percussion
instruments of Ciranda de Manacapuru, guided
in methodological terms by what Anthony Seeger
(2008) proposes as ethnography of music.
