ESTUDO SOBRE A HIPERTENSÃO ESSENCIAL EM USUÁRIOS DE CLÍNICAS FARMACÊUTICAS: UMA REVISÃO DA LITERATURA
A Farmácia Clínica e a Atenção Farmacêutica surgiram na década de 1960, quando os pacientes que estavam internados em hospitais começaram a ficar sob observação para que a medicação fosse feita em uso e horário corretos. No Brasil, a implantação do projeto foi mais lenta, pois a formação acadêmica era voltada para a área das químicas e os alunos não eram incentivados a seguir nesse ramo, foi por volta de 1970 que essa mudança ocorreu. Em 1979, foi fundado no Brasil o primeiro serviço de Farmácia Clínica pelo professor Dr. Tarcísio José Palhano, no Hospital das Clínicas da UFNR. Prevenir problemas relacionados ao uso de medicamentos é um dos principais objetivos da Atenção Farmacêutica, visando a qualidade de vida dos pacientes. Assim, o objetivo deste trabalho foi o de fazer uma revisão da literatura acerca das análises de pacientes que sofrem de Hipertensão Arterial Sistêmica, a fim de avaliar se estes tiveram uma diminuição e controle dos sintomas após o acompanhamento farmacêutico. O presente trabalho seria uma pesquisa de campo que em virtude da pandemia do Covid-19 não pôde realizar-se, resultando assim em uma mudança de metodologia: trata-se, agora, de um estudo transversal onde foi realizada uma revisão de literatura de caráter qualitativo e descritivo, por meio de informações encontradas em artigos e publicações científicas. Foi possível concluir, a partir desta pesquisa, que a atenção farmacêutica em Hipertensão Arterial é uma prática totalmente possível e capaz de produzir inúmeros resultados positivos, tanto para o paciente como para o farmacêutico, que vê a possibilidade de exercer com mais clareza sua função social. Enfatizando, além disso, o importante papel do farmacêutico no combate à hipertensão arterial, pois quanto antes o paciente for diagnosticado, melhor será o tratamento.

Abstract:
The clinical pharmacy and the pharmaceutical care emerged in the 1960s, when patients who were admitted to hospitals began to be under observation so that the medication was made in correct use and time. In Brazil, the implementation of the project was slower, as academic training was focused on the area of chemistry and students were not encouraged to continue in this field, it was around 1970 that this change occurred. In 1979, the first service of clinical pharmacy was founded in Brazil by Professor Dr. Tarcísio José Palhano, at Hospital das Clínicas, UFNR. Preventing problems related to medication use is one of the main objectives of pharmaceutical care, aiming at the quality of life of patients. Thus, the aim of this work was to review the literature about the analysis of patients suffering from Systemic Arterial Hypertension, in order to assess whether they had a decrease and control of symptoms after pharmaceutical monitoring. The present work would be a field research that, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, could not be carried out, thus resulting in a change of methodology: it is now a cross-sectional study where a literature review of character was carried out qualitative and descriptive, through information found in articles and scientific publications. It was possible to conclude, from this research, that pharmaceutical attention in Arterial Hypertension is a totally possible practice and capable of producing numerous positive results, both for the patient and for the pharmacist, who sees the possibility of exercising his social function more clearly. Emphasizing, in addition, the important role of the pharmacist in combating hypertension, because the sooner the patient is diagnosed, the better the treatment will be. -
