ESTUDO DOS DESAFIOS E LIMITAÇÕES NA IMPLANTAÇÃO DA GESTÃO DE CUSTOS EM ORGANIZAÇÕES HOSPITALARES
O objetivo deste estudo foi identificar os desafios e limitações na implantação da gestão de custos em um hospital privado de médio porte, comparando o cenário encontrado à revisão de literatura realizada. A metodologia aplicada foi exploratória e descritiva, de abordagem qualitativa, tratando-se de uma pesquisa aplicada, sendo utilizado para o levantamento dos dados a observação participante e entrevistas não estruturadas por meio de Painel de Especialistas. A fundamentação teórica se deu por meio da revisão integrativa que culminou na identificação de treze dificuldades relatadas na implantação da gestão de custos em instituições hospitalares sendo que na instituição objeto de estudo foram encontradas dez destas trezes dificuldades. Como resultado foram apresentadas sugestões de alternativas às dificuldades encontradas, com etapas descritas de modo a viabilizar a implementação efetiva da gestão de custos tanto na instituição pesquisada quanto em outras instituições hospitalares e como resultados produzidos para a instituição pesquisada, a geração de conhecimento prospectivo e a divulgação da “cultura de custos” com os gestores, diretoria e equipe administrativa.

Abstract:
The objective of this study was to identify the challenges and limitations in the implementation of cost management in a medium-sized private hospital, comparing the scenario found to the literature review carried out. The applied methodology was exploratory and descriptive, with a qualitative approach, being an applied research, being used for the survey of the data the participant observation and unstructured interviews through Panel of experts. The theoretical basis was given by means of an integrative review that culminated in the identification of thirteen difficulties reported in the implementation of cost management in hospital institutions. Ten of these thirteen difficulties were found in the institution under study. As a result, suggestions for alternatives to the difficulties encountered were presented, with steps described in order to enable the effective implementation of cost management both in the researched institution and in other hospital institutions and as results produced for the researched institution, the generation of prospective knowledge and the disclosure of the “cost culture” with managers, directors and administrative staff.
