ESTUDO DESCRITIVO COMPARATIVO ENTRE A UTI HUMANIZADA E CONVENCIONAL DE UM HOSPITAL PRIVADO
Introdução: O desenvolvimento da Unidade de Terapia Intensiva (UTI) atendeu muitas demandas no cuidado de pacientes agudos graves. Entretanto, a UTI também assumiu a casuística envolvida no estresse, fadiga física e emocional, tensão e ansiedade. Nesse contexto, surge um modelo humanizado de UTI, que visa englobar cuidados psicossociais e ambientais, além dos físicos. Objetivos: Apresentar as características da UTI humanizada comparando-as com a UTI convencional do hospital em estudo. Metodologia: Estudo descritivo sobre os modelos de UTI (humanizada e convencional) de um hospital privado em Aracaju-SE. O estudo foi realizado em dezembro 2019 e buscou a descrição da estrutura e das práticas estabelecidas. Resultados: A UTI humanizada do possui os seguintes diferenciais: possibilidade de presença de acompanhante em tempo integral (24 horas/dia); leitos individualizados com portas deslizantes e janela de vidro com cortina, monitoramento remoto no posto de enfermagem; presença de quadro de planejamento do cuidado. Conclusão: Há nítidas diferenças estruturais e organizacionais entre as UTIs em análise que influenciam no cuidado mais humanizado.

Abstract:
Introduction: The development of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) met many demands in the care of critically ill acute patients. However, the ICU also obtained the casuistry involved in stress, anxiety, physical and emotional fatigue. In this context, a humanized ICU model emerges, aiming to include psychosocial and environmental care, in addition to physical care. Objective: To present the characteristics of the humanized ICU comparing them with the conventional ICU of the hospital under study. Methods: Descriptive study on the ICU models (humanized and conventional) of a private hospital in Aracaju-SE. The study was conducted in December 2019 and sought a description of the structure and applied practices. Results: The humanized ICU of the hospital under study has the following differentials: the possibility of having a full-time visitor; individualized beds with sliding doors and their own windows, with curtains and remote monitoring at the nursing station; use of a Care Planning framework. Conclusion: There are clear structural and organizational differences between the ICUs in analysis that influence more humanized care.
