Abstract: Introduction: Passiflora is rich in compounds with numerous therapeutic benefits, and it can be used in teas, as a seasoning, or even as a phytotherapeutic treatment for various conditions, such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). This condition is characterized by the presence of symptoms like anxiety, restlessness, sleep problems, learning difficulties, and issues with interpersonal relationships. Objective: To review the scientific literature on the use of Passiflora in children and adolescents with ADHD and its outcomes within the school context. Methodology: An integrative review study was conducted with scientific papers published in the PubMed, Embase, Scopus, and Web of Science databases, combining the terms "Passiflora" and "Attention Deficit Disorder with Hyperactivity." The study was carried out in two stages: reading titles and abstracts, and reading the full texts. Results: Out of 89 articles found, only 2 met the PICO strategy and the eligibility criteria defined for this research. The first study compared the use of Passiflora or Methylphenidate in children and adolescents with ADHD, with no significant differences found between the two groups. The second study used a combination of different medicinal herbs in children with typical signs and symptoms of ADHD, showing symptomatic improvement in 9 of the 13 items evaluated through the "Child Behavior Checklist." Conclusion: New studies are needed to gather better evidence regarding the recommendation of Passiflora for ADHD symptoms in this population.
