ESTUDO DE CASO SOBRE ALAGAMENTOS URBANOS NA AVENIDA JK EM FOZ DO IGUAÇU - PR
O processo de urbanização causa diversos impactos ao meio ambiente. Um deles é a alteração do ciclo hidrológico das bacias por conta das modificações antrópicas das características não só do relevo, mas também da cobertura do solo. Com o aumento da taxa de impermeabilização dos solos, o escoamento superficial e a taxa de infiltração das águas pluviais são alterados. Diante disto, os fenômenos de alagamentos são cada vez mais recorrentes. Com isso o objetivo deste trabalho foi elencar as condicionantes dos fenômenos de alagamentos presentes na Avenida Juscelino Kubitscheck na cidade de Foz do Iguaçu - PR. Foram analisadas as características altimétricas das bacias que envolvem a área de estudo, assim como os locais que a Prefeitura Municipal identificou problemas críticos de drenagem. Os dados demonstraram que os fatores intrínsecos à própria rede de drenagem, possuem condicionantes de cunho altimétrico do relevo que corroboram para a suscetibilidade dos pontos à alagamentos. Além disso, as condições de uso e ocupação do solo da região, indicam uma elevada taxa de impermeabilização da área, o que aumenta o volume e a velocidade das águas pluviais que escoam superficialmente das microbacias. Por isso, situações de estresse e falhas nas redes pluviais de drenagem da avenida foram observados.

Abstract:
The urbanization process causes several impacts to the environment. One of them is the alteration of the hydrological cycle of the basins due to the anthropic changes of the characteristics not only of the relief, but also of the soil cover. With the increase in the rate of soil sealing, the surface runoff and the rate of infiltration of rainwater are altered. In view of this, the phenomena of flooding are increasingly recurrent. The objective of this work was to list the conditions of the flooding phenomena present on Avenue Juscelino Kubitscheck in the city of Foz do Iguaçu - PR. The altimetric characteristics of the basins that surround the study area were analyzed, as well as the places where the City Hall identified critical drainage problems. The data showed that the factors intrinsic to the drainage network itself have altimetric nature conditions of the relief that corroborate the susceptibility of the points to flooding. In addition, the conditions of use and occupation of the soil in the region indicate a high rate of waterproofing of the area, which increases the volume and speed of rainwater that run off the surface of the microbasins. Therefore, stress situations and failures in the avenue's drainage networks were observed.
