Abstract: The research aimed to analyze adverse reactions related to the COVID-19 vaccine in Federal District of Brazil. Due to the coronavirus, there was a decrease in population, however, some ended up choosing not to vaccinate, out of fear and misinformation about adverse effects, which is an unwanted event for the body resulting from immunization. A study was carried out in Federal District to observe the side effects of four vaccines selected. Thereby, a cross-sectional survey was carried out, using an online and face to face instrument, dated between August 2021 and November 2022. The survey showed most common vaccine effects such as local pain, tiredness/lethargy, muscle pain and fever, and in the first dose showed 64.57%, 32.6%, 29.15% and 25.07%, respectively. In the second dose, the results were similar, but revealed an adverse reaction of inadequate response, affecting only one vaccinee in 319 volunteers. In addition, an analysis was carried out correlating the socio-epidemiological profile, population knowledge about subject and each type of vaccine available with adverse effects manifested in participants. After the study, it became clear that most of adverse reactions presented are common in vaccinees.
