ESTUDO DAS PROPRIEDADES BIOLÓGICAS DE Jatropha mollissima (POHL BAILL)
Ao longo do tempo observou-se um grande salto na ciência com o aprimoramento de técnicas e estudos voltados para o potencial terapêutico do reino vegetal. A partir disso, tem se intensificado na indústria farmacêutica a busca por produtos naturais. Os membros da família Euphorbiaceae, especialmente a espécie Jatropha molissima (Pohl) Baill se destaca por ter diversas aplicabilidades na medicina tradicional e na agricultura. Nesse contexto, o objetivo do presente estudo foi fazer um levantamento bibliográfico das bioatividades dos extratos e óleos essenciais da espécie botânica J. mollissima, enfatizando os aspectos relacionados a parte da planta utilizada, o tipo de extrato, a técnica analítica e os constituintes químicos presentes que podem estar relacionados a bioatividade apresentada.

Abstract:
Over time, there has been a great leap in science with the improvement of techniques and studies aimed at the therapeutic potential of the plant kingdom. As a result, the search for natural products has intensified in the pharmaceutical industry. The members of the Euphorbiaceae family, especially the species Jatropha molissima (Pohl) Baill stands out for having several applications in traditional medicine and agriculture. In this context, the aim of this study was to carry out a bibliographical survey of the bioactivities of extracts and essential oils of the botanical species J. mollissima, emphasizing aspects related to the part of the plant used, the type of extract, the analytical technique and the chemical constituents present that may be related to the presented bioactivity.
