Abstract: The trend for the future is the bioeconomy, based on the use of biomass to generate green chemical products and substances. Therefore, the possibility of reusing two lignocellulosic solid waste, from the cotton spinning company Hantex and Incofios Ind. and Com. de Fios Ltda, was evaluated. To achieve the main objective of this work, the adsorption capacity of reactive dyes was tested on two lignocellulosic residues, after their calcination (R1 and R2). After reuse in dyeing, the dyeing properties evaluated were: fabric color reproducibility (dE), and fastness under wet and dry rubbing. Initially, the adsorption power was tested in aqueous solutions with three dyes, namely, Sidercron Blue BF-BL, Novacron Yellow S-3R and Red FN-R-01, and thus an efficiency of 99.09% was obtained with the residue R1 and 97.19% residue R2 for the blue dye; for the red dye it was 95.39% with R1 and 97.19% R2; and in the case of yellow dye with 82.99% R1 and 95.92% R2. Then, adsorption was carried out in dye baths with the calcined residues. For dyeing with blue dye removal greater than 90%; With the yellow dye, the efficiency did not exceed 81%. While with the red dye, regardless of the amount and type of adsorbent, the removal percentage was greater than 96%. The residual bath of the treated dyeing was used for a new dyeing cycle, obtaining satisfactory results under certain conditions, with dE less than 0.4 and dry fastness 4/5.
