ESTUDO DA REDUÇÃO DO RETRABALHO EM UMA PLANTA DE LUBRIFICANTES NA REGIÃO SUDESTE DO BRASIL
O objetivo desse trabalho é reduzir a maior causa de desperdício em uma determinada unidade industrial instalada na região sudeste do Brasil, que é o retrabalho em sua fabricação de lubrificantes. Para isso, foram analisadas e modificadas as variáveis consideradas pertinentes ao processo. No estudo foram utilizadas diversas ferramentas da qualidade tais com Diagrama de Ishikawa e Brainstorm para definir e auxiliar as mudanças nas etapas da fabricação. As alterações realizadas em todo o processo foram consideradas satisfatórias, uma vez que o índice de retrabalho foi reduzido de 39% para 17% durante o período do estudo. Sugere-se continuar a investigação das variáveis estudadas além de incluir outras novas para atingir a meta de 10 % de retrabalho tendo em vista um processo de melhoria contínua em prol do aumento da competitividade da empresa.

Abstract:
The objective of this work was to reduce the rework rate of a lubricant industrial unit located in the southeast region of Brazil. In this study several quality tools were used such as Ishikawa Diagram and Brainstorm to define and assist changes in manufacturing steps. The variables considered pertinent to the process were analyzed and modified to better adjust the process and reduce the rework rate. The changes performed throughout the process were considered satisfactory, since the rework rate decreased from 39% to 17% during the study period. It is suggested to continue investigating the studied variables, besides including new ones, to reach the target of 10% of rework, focusing in a continuous improvement process so that the company becomes even more competitive.
