ESTUDO DA PERCEPÇÃO AMBIENTAL SOBRE QUALIDADE DO SOLO EM UMA COMUNIDADE RURAL DO MUNICÍPIO DE CAPANEMA-PA
O solo é um recurso natural essencial à vida dos seres vivos. A importância desse recurso para a vida, resulta das mais diversas funções ecossistêmicas desempenhadas, inclusive as resultantes das inter-relações entre o homem e o ambiente. Devido a importância deste recurso, este trabalho teve por objetivo analisar a percepção ambiental relacionada à qualidade do solo e ao uso da terra no contexto da comunidade rural do Segredinho, município de Capanema, Nordeste Paraense. O estudo foi realizado por meio de entrevistas e aplicação de questionários semiestruturados junto às famílias de agricultores da comunidade. Como principais resultados, constatou-se que mesmo com a ausência de um conhecimento formal e técnico, os pequenos agricultores rurais detêm o conhecimento através de sua vivência e análises das mudanças que ocorrem no campo diariamente, assim eles elencaram possíveis indicadores de qualidade do solo, bem como práticas conservacionistas que corroboram com os que são frequentemente estudados pelas instituições de ensino e pesquisa, confirmando a importância da troca de saberes entre essas duas esferas. Através dos dados obtidos com esse estudo, infere-se que é essencial a realização de estudos como este, que faça a coleta de dados in loco, embasando o conhecimento empírico com as pesquisas catalogadas na literatura.

Abstract:
Soil is an essential natural resource for the life of living beings. The importance of this resource for life, results from the most diverse ecosystem functions performed, including those resulting from the interrelationships between man and the environment. Due to the importance of this resourse, this study aimed to analyze the environmental perception related to soil quality and land use in the context of the rural community of Segredinho, municipality of Capanema, Northeast Paraense. The study was carried out through interviews and application of semi-structured questionnaires to the farming families of the community. As main results, it was found that even with the absence of formal and technical knowledge, small rural farmers retain the knowledge through their experience and analysis of changes that occur in the field on a daily basis, so they list possible indicators of soil quality, as well as conservationist practices that corroborate those that are frequently studied by teaching and research institutions, confirming the importance of the exchange of knowledge between these two spheres. Through the data obtained with this study, it appears that it is essential to carry out studies such as this one, that do the data collection in loco, supporting the empirical knowledge with the cataloged researches in the literature.
