Abstract: The present article aims to investigate the clinical and pathophysiological history of Salla Syndrome. To compose the literature review, the PICO methodology was used, using as reference academic databases relevant to the area of physiotherapy, medicine and genetics, such as PubMed, PEDro, Web of Science, Virtual Health Library (VHL), among others. The bibliographical research was based on studies from the last 5 years, considering the words ―Salla Syndrome‖, ―Clinical Study‖, ―Physiopathology‖ as health descriptors. Furthermore, it aimed to present the theoretical framework that guided the body of work, which is aimed at studies aimed at the pathophysiology of the disease. Therefore, we sought to emphasize that it is crucial that the treatment is adapted and closely monitored by specialized health professionals, seeking not only to contribute to a deeper understanding of Salla Syndrome and its implications, but also to offer practical guidelines for a clinical study. of these cases. In this way, the research highlights how expected results and through its considerations, the importance of early and continuous intervention, adapted to the individual needs of each patient, to optimize long-term results, elucidating that these discoveries contribute to a greater understanding of the Salla syndrome and provide valuable guidelines for healthcare professionals working with this population.
