Abstract: The agricultural irrigation system is generally powered by energy obtained from conventional power plants that obtain energy from fossil fuels; This represents a big problem for rural users since it is very expensive and most of them do not receive this energy, in addition to the negative environmental impact it has. This problem would be addressed through the development of agricultural irrigation systems with autonomous photovoltaic power that allows energy savings since they will not be connected to the electrical grid. In traditional irrigation systems, water is applied to the entire field, either by sprinkler or flood irrigation, resulting in significant water loss. Drip irrigation is a modern irrigation method in which water is applied directly to the root zone of the plant. In such irrigation systems, water is applied only to specific areas in the field, where the plants are grown.
