ESTRUTURA POPULACIONAL E DISTRIBUIÇÃO ESPACIAL DE Theobroma speciosum Willd.ex Spreng NA FLORESTA NACIONAL DO TAPIRAPÉ-AQUIRI
O conhecimento da dinâmica populacional de espécies tropicais na Amazônia direciona a utilização de indivíduos com potencial madeireiro ou não madeireiro. O cacauí (Theobroma Speciosum Willd. Ex Spreng) é uma espécie nativa da floresta amazônica e ocorre preferencialmente em matas de terra firme, onde por sua vez, é manejado por algumas comunidades tradicionais. Em contrapartida, pelos efeitos de uso de terra, essa espécie vem sofrendo o efeito de fragmentação, o que causa redução do tamanho das populações e altera o funcionamento do ecossistema. Diante disso, com a realização do inventário florestal aplicado á instalação de seis parcelas permanentes, este estudo objetivou entender a estrutura populacional e a distribuição espacial da T.Speciosum na Floresta Nacional do Tapirapé Aquiri. Os resultados encontrados evidenciaram 35 indivíduos de T.Speciosum nas seis parcelas permanentes amostradas. Os valores do Índice de Dispersão de Morisita (Id) encontrado para essa população foi de 1,94, o que indicou um padrão agrupado para os indivíduos presentes na área de estudo, e ao mesmo tempo uma dificuldade de reprodução e de distribuir-se em outros locais. Esses dados indicam que essa espécie é sensível e suscetível à fragmentação, demonstrando uma limitação da espécie em estabelecer regeneração na floresta.

Abstract:
The knowledge of population dynamics of tropical species in the Amazon directs the use of arboreal individuals with timber and non-timber potential. The cacauí (Theobroma Speciosum Willd. Ex Spreng) is a species native to the Amazon rainforest and occurs preferably in dryland forests, where it is managed by some traditional communities. On the other hand, due to the effects of land use, this species has been suffering the effect of fragmentation, which causes a reduction in the size of populations and changes the functioning of the ecosystem. Therefore, with the realization of the forest inventory applied to the installation of six permanent plots, this study aimed to understand the population structure and the spatial distribution of T. Speciosum in the Tapirapé Aquiri National Forest. The results found showed 35 individuals of T. Speciosum in the six permanent plots sampled. The values of the Morisita Dispersion Index (Id) found for the population of T. spciosum was 1,94, which indicated a grouped pattern for individuals present in the study area, and at the same time a difficulty in reproduction and distribute to other locations. These data indicate that this species is sensitive and susceptible to fragmentation, demonstrating a limitation of the species in establishing regeneration in the forest.
